Since 1987, Solid Rock Church has owned and occupied the former Aurora Theatre, built in 1911. Once a movie theatre and home of a six-lane bowling alley, 7 E. North Avenue is now a house of worship and a pillar of hope for the community. Though the congregation has remained resilient the time has come to update the building to meet the needs of current and future generations. Your partnership will aid us in renovating our facility to be accessible, secure, and multi-purposed. We will be able to host community seminars, Parent Cafes, collegiate art events, concerts, recitals, community meetings, and more. Join us on this journey of building for God + generations.
